Ian Sutton – Founder and Conceptual Architect

With more than 25 years experience in application development and almost 20 years of that using SAS, Ian Sutton has a passion for enabling extraction of information from masses of data in an easy and unconstrained way. He has followed this passion from the initial days of establishing Futrix to his current involvement in the day-to-day development of the software as Conceptual Architect.

Before founding Futrix in April 1997, Ian worked for SAS Institute in both New Zealand and the UK, consulting for many major clients around the world.


Clare Howden – Chief Executive Officer

Clare Howden initially trained as a psychologist and managed children's rights on film sets before turning her hand to business management. Clare established her own recruitment consultancy in London and grew the business successfully for close to a decade.

Prior to taking on the leadership role at Futrix, Clare managed the financial aspect of the company for several years. As CEO, Clare has led Futrix through a period of substantial growth and change.


Shannon Burke MBA, MHA – Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Shannon Burke has over 20 years of Healthcare experience. After 8 years of working in sales, sales management and marketing for Merck and Company, she joined LBA Healthcare Management a consulting firm focused on cost containment, quality improvement and business development. In 1999 she became a founding partner in Healthgrades.com, an internet company providing healthcare outcomes to the public, as well as quality improvement and business development consulting services.


Susan McHugh J.D. – Executive Vice President Education and Client Services

Susan McHugh received her J.D. from Duke University Law School in 1996. She has practiced Employment Law and has experience at the Federal and Colorado State Level. Most recently she has focused her work on education and implementation of various curriculum for Denver Public Schools. She has been nationally recognized for her success.


Mario Perkins – General Manager Americas

Combining a strong business knowledge and broad technical background, Mario has spent his entire 25 year career working to help organizations overcome business challenges by leveraging strategic information systems. In 2008, he joined Futrix to spearhead operations in the Americas after successfully promoting Futrix for 7 years as the top Futrix reseller as part of his role as the Director of North American Operations at Qualex Consulting Services. He also has work experience with the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and SAS Institute.

Mario's direct involvement resulted in several recognitions that include Qualex receiving the SAS Field Choice Award (three times) and Top SAS Reseller Award. He was also the first recipient of the Goodyear Circle of Excellence award.
