Wellington, New Zealand – 20 August, 2008 – Futrix makes a sizable contribution at the charity Gala Dinner in support of Asthma New Zealand.
The annual charity “Gala Dinner of the year” was held on 5 August 2008 at the Duxton Hotel, Wellington. This was a fundraising event in aid of Asthma New Zealand, a non-government charitable organization helping New Zealanders suffering from asthma and other respiratory diseases. The event featured All Blacks captain Richie McCaw and his teammate Dan Carter.
Clare Howden, CEO of Futrix, represented the company at the event. Having a 5-year old son with asthma and a family history of asthma sufferers, Ms Howden feels deep empathy for people who have respiratory conditions. Ms Howden supports wholeheartedly what Asthma New Zealand is doing to help Kiwis breathe more easily. “We are happy to have an opportunity to make a contribution to Asthma New Zealand,”said Ms Howden.“We believe that Asthma New Zealand is making a real difference, creating new solutions for people with asthma and raising awareness of respiratory conditions in New Zealand”.
